Faye Maxine (Freestone) Burger crossed over on Monday, Jan. 20, 2025, at 3:58 a.m. in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was 84 years old.

Faye was born on June 2, 1940, to Russell and Hazel Freestone in Glasgow, Mont. She was the second of three children.

Faye went to work in the kitchen at the Southside School, and from there she went to the Junior High kitchen, and finally landing as Head Cook at Irle School until her retirement. She loved each and everyone of the students that came through the lunch line.
