The Glasgow Ice Dawg Squirts traveled to Billings this past weekend and kept the weekend on fire, winning all four games. They came home from the weekend of play with an 8-0 conference record, and are currently undefeated in conference play.
The first game of the weekend, Jan. 11, saw the Squirts against Billings, where the Squirts won 10-1. A hat trick (three goals in the game) was performed by Jaxon Budde and one assist went to Benson Rasmusan.
The next game on Jan. 11, saw a match-up against Miles City, where once again the Squirts won 9-2, with Bryker Bates and Taelynn Henry scoring two goals each. Havre was the next victim, with a Squirt win 9-0, with a shutout by Corban Hystad, two goals for McK Markle and two assists for Kellen Renner. “Kellen has worked his butt off and has yet to score a goal himself this year!,” stated team manager SaraAnn Rasmussen.
The Squirts played Miles City again on Jan. 12, where the Squirts scored 12-4, with hat tricks for Rasmusan and Budde, as well as two goals each for Bridger Brooks and Hystad.
Throughout the entire weekend, the Squirts scored a total of 40 goals while only allowing seven goals.
