Calendar Of Upcoming Events In The Area

Every Thursday at 9:30 a.m., there is coffee hour at the Nashua Senior Citizens.

Bingo at the Glasgow Senior Citizens Center, 328 4th Street S. Dime Bingo is on Tuesdays at 1 p.m., and Quarter Bingo is on Saturdays at 7 p.m.

Through the winter, the Fort Peck Interpretive Center is open by appointment only to see the Center or for a Powerhouse Tour, 406-526-3493.

Thursday, Jan. 16

7 p.m. - American Legion Post 41, Sons of the American Legion, and Auxiliary, invite you to join them for the first monthly meeting of 2025 at the VFW. Following the meeting there will be light refreshments. If you have questions or wish to join call or text Leila 406-263-0321.

Friday, Jan. 17

2 p.m. - Glasgow School District Calendar Committee Meeting in the Gary F. Martin Boardroom, 229 7th St. N, Glasgow. Agenda can be located on the Glasgow Schools’ website, https://www.glasgow.k12.mt.us/page/school-board.

3 p.m. - Superhero Night At Glasgow Gymnasium during the Poplar Indians Basetkball Games.

Saturday, Jan. 18

9:30 a.m. Registration for the 6th Annual Polar Putt Putt at Toodie’s Cafe. There will also be a driving range to get some practice in. The game play will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 4 p.m, at the Busted Knuckle.

7 p.m. - Quarter Bingo at the Glasgow Senior Citizens Center, 328 4th Street South. All are wecome. 25 cents a card or 5 cards for a $1.

Sunday, Jan. 19

1 – 3 p.m. - Nashua Lion’s Club Roller Skating at the Nashua Civic Center. Light refreshments will be available for purchase Everyone is welcome and encouraged to skate.

Monday, Jan. 20

Valley County Courthouse is closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Tuesday, Jan. 21

Noon – 3 p.m. - Valley Community Food Bank, 1020 1st Ave. No., is open the third Tuesday of every month. For more info., or if you need assistance, contact Jeff , 406-263-6676 or Mary, 406-794-8498.

5 p.m. - Glasgow City Council regular meeting in the Council Chambers located inside of the Glasgow Civic Center.

Wednesday, Jan. 22

9:30 a.m. - The Seniors will be having a Senior Meeting at the Glasgow Senior Center, 328 4th Street South. All seniors are welcome.

2 p.m. - Council of Aging Board is meeting at the Glasgow Senior Center. All seniors are welcome. This meeting was to be held Jan. 8, but had to be rescheduled due to the ice storm.
