Scottie Girls 7-5 In Miles City Mixer; Glasgow Boys 3-7

The Glasgow girls wrestling team went 7-5 at the Miles City Mixer Jan. 4 while the boys went 3-7 at the duals.

Bailey Dooley and Avery Pedersen led the Scottie girls with two wins each. Dooley won a 6-2 decision over Maci Buffington and won by fall over Bella Chamberlian. Pedersen won by falls over Cameron Davis and Dakota Lufburough.

Kylie Aho won by fall over Laney Frieboes and Madison Lamb defeated Kaylee Orcutt by fall. Riley Clampitt also claimed a victory by fall, defeating Reagyn Buffington.

Tyler King earned two wins for the Scottie boys. He won by fall over Trent Penrod and by fall over Cooper Gardner. Weston Kirkland won a technical fall over Quentin Moya. The Scottie wrestling teams attended the Havre Dual Jan. 7 but results were unavailable at press time.

Glasgow travels to North Dakota this weekend for the legendary Bismarck Rotary Invite. The Scotties will be wrestling Friday and Saturday, Jan. 10 and 11.

They host the Sidney Eagles for a dual Tuesday, Jan. 14, with action kicking off at 6 p.m.
