Joseph D. Tolzien

Joseph "Joe" Dennis Tolzien, 65, was born July 18, 1959, and born again a few decades later. He went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2024.

A Memorial Service and burial will be in Glasgow, Mont., at a later date.

Joe was born in Glasgow, to Bill and Darlene Tolzien and was the fifth of seven children. He attended Glasgow High School but received his GED later and became a plumber, passing his licensing exam on the first try. He lived in Washington and Colorado before moving to Lewistown, Mont., in 2021.

Joe is preceded in death by his father; brothers Jon and Michael; grandparents Laurence "Pete" and Marion Tolzien and John and Thelma Maxness.

He is survived by his children, Shaena and Bryce, of Spokane, Wash., and Joseph, of Pullman, Wash .; mother Darlene and step-dad Roy Jones, of Lewistown; sister Billee Blair; brothers Patrick (Ronnie), James, and Thomas (Jennifer); and aunts Kathy Marks and Marla Jan Dedobbeleer.
