Celebrate The Tree Of Life: FMDH Foundation's End-of-Year Giving

The Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital (FMDH) Foundation’s annual “Tree of Life” lighting ceremony took place on Friday, November 29th. This cherished tradition celebrates the generosity and support of the community while providing a unique way for friends and neighbors to honor loved ones or commemorate special events. The beautifully lit tree will shine brightly through the New Year, adorned with ornaments bearing the names of honorees, symbolizing love and remembrance.

Each gift to the Tree of Life ensures that the names of honorees are written on ornaments and hung on the tree as a tribute. A personalized acknowledgment card is also sent to individuals specified by the donor, making it a meaningful and thoughtful gift that continues to give beyond the holiday season.

Thanks to the incredible support of our community, the FMDH Foundation gifted over $100,000 to Valley County in 2024, ensuring access to exceptional healthcare in rural America. This year’s contributions provided critical equipment and resources to various departments and organizations:
