According to the Glasgow Police Department, there was a bomb threat called in to the McDonalds in Glasgow during the afternoon of Dec 7. When the threat was made, the suspect did not provide any details besides there was a bomb in the McDonald's building.
The building and surrounding businesses were evacuated. Officers from the local Special Response Team, along with Leo, the police dog, responded and cleared the area. After the area was cleared, McDonalds and nearby businesses were reopened.
The Glasgow Police Department is still investigating the situation.
