Craig Duprez

Craig Robert Duprez was born in Bellflower, Calif., on June 8, 1971. He died peacefully in his sleep on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024.

There will be a celebration of Craig's life around his birthday in June at Fort Peck, Mont.

Craig grew up in California attending school in the San Bernardino mountains and continued his education at Orange Coast College. In his 30s, Craig moved to Glasgow, Mont. He worked various jobs, but had especially fond memories of his first job at Sam's.

Craig was intelligent with a quick wit and a spicy personality. If you were fortunate enough to work with Craig he would always make work fun, cracking jokes and making everyone laugh, while getting the job done.

A spur of the moment guy, when he felt like doing something, your phone would ring or he would just show up at your house ready to go for a walk, a drive, or especially a swim in the lake or pool. He was always up for an adventure.

Craig enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. Each spring, Craig would plant sunflowers. He would care for them and try to get them to grow taller than the year before. He was proud of his gardening abilities and loved showing off his results.

Craig let the music move him, especially the 70s and 80s music. When a great tune was playing, Craig would always start dancing!! It didn't matter what he was doing, where he was, or who was around...there always a minute or two for a little dance break! He loved to actually live life, and that is advice we all should take.

Craig was confident in himself, allowing the people around him to put their guard down and be themselves too. He was

open, and could be silly or serious, whatever he was feeling was what you saw.

Anything lemon was a favorite of Craig's. Think of him the next time you indulge in a lemon flavored cookie, slice of pie, or piece of cake.

Craig also had an uncanny knowledge regarding cars. He knew everything about almost every vehicle and all the different models. He was the person his family turned to for advice when they were going to purchase a vehicle.

Craig was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Duprez; grandparents Donald and Phyllis Duprez; and grandparents Robert and Lorraine Hamilton, with whom he had a very close bond.

Survivors include his dog Tammy, whom he loved with all of his heart. She accompanied him everywhere and they had many adventures, always side by side. He is also survived by his mother, Nancy Hamilton; brother Mark Duprez; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Craig was so easy to love and will be missed by many.
