Montana Mining Leader Named Among World's Most Inspirational Women in Mining

Jessica Scanlan, founder of Montana-based MineLife Media LLC, and graduate of Nashua School, has been named to Women in Mining UK's 2024 "100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining" (WIM100), selected from over 570 nominations worldwide. A Montana Tech graduate and former underground mine geologist at the Stillwater Mine in Nye, Scanlan now leads a company helping mining operations better connect with their communities through social media.

"This recognition is incredibly humbling," says Scanlan. "The mining industry is full of remarkable people doing important work, often without recognition. Many are quietly implementing innovative community programs, improving safety practices, and finding ways to be better neighbors."
