Irle School third-graders in Mrs. Bense, Mrs. Fauth and Mrs. Doornek class helped make the Glasgow Senior Citizens Center look festive during the 32nd annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner on Nov. 28. Their creativity adorned the tables during the dinner, allowing everyone to marvel at the originative masterpieces.
Glasgow High School Student Council students were one of the many volunteers during the 32nd Annual Thanksgiving Day dinner held Nov. 28, at the Glasgow Senior Citizens Center. Pictured left to right are Kimber Dulaney, Rod Karst, Josie Kemp, Nick Solorzano and Annika Smith getting dinner rolls cut and prepared for the table. In addition to the Glasgow High School student council, several volunteers gathered together to prepare and serve the meal, including Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Deb Partridge and other enthusiastic individuals. The Irle School third-graders made the table centerpieces for the dinner.
According to organizer Ruth Ann Hutchinson, a total of 189 people were served. Over the past 30 years, approximately 5,400 people have enjoyed the event.
