As the weather turned to winter with the season's first snow fall on Nov. 23, the Glasgow Civic Center was the host of the All Handcrafted Bazaar, organized by PEO Chapter U. The table profits and nut sales go towards scholarships for local women.
The P.E.O. Sisterhood is a U.S.-based international women's organization of about 197,000 members, with a primary focus on providing educational opportunities for female students worldwide.
Community members ventured out into the cold and snow were also able to support local hand-crafted businesses by getting a jump start on their holiday shopping and even grabbing a treat for themselves with the wide variety of baked goods that were available.
