was advised there is no animal control for the area. He said he was just bit pretty good by a pit bull. He states the dog got his dog also. The caller does not need an ambulance and the dog is cornered in his yard at this time. Deputy requested dispatch call Roosevelt County and see if they have an on call animal control officer, which they do not. Deputy later spoke with Tribal and they are en route. At 1832, animal control arrived on scene.
Friday, Nov. 15
0425 – Reporting party says there is a guy in the ditch and he smells kind of ripe. After deputy arrived to the scene, the driver appeared to be passed out behind the wheel. Later, the driver started fighting with the deputy and the deputy then requested an ambulance.
1243 – Reporting party called in to report she was just rear ended at the underpass. She hit her head but doesn’t need an ambulance.
1349 – Caller reported a van that is all over the road. The van has crossed the center line multiple times. Due to spotty reception, the dispatcher kept losing the caller. The reporting party called back at 1400 and provided a location and plate for the vehicle.
1733 – A traffic control call was recorded. The caller reported a semi attempting to get out from under the underpass.
1756 – Caller reported that a male arrived about an hour ago drunk. He was asked to leave. Since then he has been calling non-stop from a private number, screaming profanities at the staff.
Saturday, Nov. 16
0257 – Caller reported a female came back from her sister’s in Wolf Point intoxicated, and he would like her removed. Dispatch could hear in the background the woman stating it is her house and he needs to leave. She also said he punched her in the face. Dispatch notified RCSO to send Tribal. They only have one officer and he is on a multiple victim motor vehicle accident at the moment. At 0327, deputy spoke to the female, and she said the male backhanded her across the face. Deputy will be out patrolling the area for him. At 0344, it was reported the deputy has one male running from him, and the deputy is pretty sure it was the male caller.
2347 – Caller reported a vehicle on the westbound side of the road with its flashers on. There is no one around. Per the deputy the car is jacked up and there may be an issue with the lug nut. The vehicle is off the road and not a hazard. Deputy later spoke to the registered owner of the vehicle. She is with her cousin to try and get a tire sorted out.
Sunday, Nov. 17
0649 – Reporting party stated she lost her wallet between home and Highway 24N. A description of the wallet was provided.
