Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
Alysa Jensen, age, 23, from Hinsdale, Mont., passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, in a vehicle accident just north of Saco, Mont.
Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Hinsdale School at 11 a.m., with a luncheon to follow. Cremation has taken place and no burial is planned.
On July 24, 2001, Alysa Lynn Jensen was born to Dawn Marie Jensen (Frazier) and David B. Conway. She was stubborn and went by her own terms from the very beginning, after all she decided to make her grand entrance into the world by being born in an ambulance two weeks early.
In June 2006 she made the long trek from Ohio to Montana with her mom and daddy, Frank Jensen. From the moment she arrived in Montana, she knew she was home.
Alysa attended school in Hinsdale and graduated with the class of 2019. She loved school and was proud to be a Raider and North Country Maverick. She truly loved writing and was always writing stories and putting her thoughts down on paper. She dreamed of being a journalist one day. While in school, Alysa was a cheerleader, played volleyball, sang in the choir, played the flute and drums in band, and was a member in the FFA.
Alysa had many things she enjoyed doing. Some of her favorites included going up North to the family homestead and spending summers with her mom and dad. She was a lover of all animals, but especially enjoyed riding her horses and spoiling her cats as much as possible. Alysa also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going target shooting with her dad. Another passion of hers was music, from such a young age she was listening to just about anything she could, she didn't really have a favorite. Music just brought her peace.
After high school Alysa attended MSU-Northern for a short while, but life had other plans for her. On Dec. 2, 2020, she welcomed her son, Alyx, to the world, and from that day on being his mom brought her the greatest happiness. She struggled, she stressed, and sometimes life was rough, but she always carried on when it came to Alyx. He was her greatest accomplishment. If there is one thing that she would have wanted her son to know, it would be that she truly loves him and always will.
Alysa was preceded in death by her daddy Frank Jensen; grandmothers Peggy Frazier and Alma Jensen; grandfather Rocky E. Frazier; uncle Rocky S. Frazier; and grandparents Phil and Mary Conway.
Alysa is survived by her son Alyx; her mom Dawn Jensen, of Saco, Mont.; father David Conway, of Ohio; "Cuzzie" Autumn Martin (Matt) and their kids, Tucker and Rylee, of Kentucky; brothers Tyler and Matt Conway and Josh Scheiber, all of Ohio; aunts Jeanette Wyrick, of Montana, and Lisa Conway Caupp (Daren), of Ohio; Auntie Ashley Olson, of Hinsdale; and numerous other friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers all donations will go into an account for her son's future.
