The VFW Post 3107 hosted their annual Veterans Day program at the Post on Nov. 11. The presentation was emceed by Courtney Anderson, who welcomed attendees and spoke of her background in the service.
Phil Wilson and the Veteran Color Guard presented the Colors for the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem, played by Max Knodel.
Veteran and post chaplain Jason Myers delivered the Invocation while Joe Yeoman and Nick Pulver addressed the audience regarding the history of Veterans Day and shared personal anecdotes.
Anderson thanked the speakers and fellow veterans for their service and stressed the need for veterans to continue their service by being leaders within their communities.
Myers gave a thoughtful benediction before the Colors were retired by Wilson and the Color Guard. Leonard Swenson and Knodel played Taps to complete the program.
A potluck dinner was held following the program.
