This week the Mavericks will head to Sidney and open the Eastern C Divisional Tournament playing at noon against the 2C second place team Savage.

I was extremely proud of these girls over the weekend. They did some really amazing things because of how awful our week started out with sickness and not having a full practice any of the days we practiced. They fought through some pretty hard mental battles trying to keep themselves in and focused. We still have some work to do to get back to the State tournament. Both of the matches we lost at Districts were our poorest serving matches of the tournament. So if we clean up a few things and learn to be focused when we are mentally and physically exhausted I believe we will have an excellent chance to return to the State Tournament next week in Bozeman.

The Eastern C Divisional Tournament will be held Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 7-9, in Sidney. North Country opens Thursday at noon against Broadus. The top two teams out of the Eastern Divisional Tournament will advance to the State Tournament.

Scobey will play Jordan at 10 a.m. followed by the North Country match. Circle and Plentywood play at 2 p.m. while Bainville takes on Savage at 4 p.m. North Country Mavericks Take Third At District 1C Volleyball
