Nashua Volleyball

The Nashua Porcupines played two matches last week to close out the regular season. The Porcupines hosted the Glasgow Scottie C squad Oct. 22. Nashua took the match to four sets but lost 9-25, 18-25, 25-21, 23-25. Coach Sydney Hersom said, "We were unfortunately missing our starting middle due to being sick, so we had to switch our whole rotation... and people were playing different spots, it was a mess!"

Nashua hosted the Lustre Christian Lions Oct. 25. The Porcupines fell in three sets, 22-25, 14-25, 23-25. "It was Senior Night tonight, it was a very good game." Coach Hersom said. "In the first set I gave up 3 points as the coach wrote down the rotation wrong."

Nashua will attend the District 1C Volleyball Tournament in Plentywood this weekend. The tournament will run Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 31-Nov. 2. The Porcupines open against Richey & Lambert Thursday with a 4:30 p.m. match.
