Oct. 8, the Mavericks traveled to Chinook to take on a Class B rival. They came up short but gained some important experience. Chinook has been a Class C opponent with a lot of volleyball knowledge over the last several years. We enjoy playing them and like to take advantage of playing a solid program. The Mavericks lost in 4 sets.

Saturday the Mavericks attended their match in Lustre where it was Pink night raising awareness for Breast Cancer. The Mavericks had a pretty sporadic week of practice so it lead to a little off-kilter play on Saturday. We came away with a win in 3 sets but just couldn’t get going and keep things going the way we would like.
