Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
The entire community and throughout parts of the United States had their eyes to the sky Oct. 10 through Oct. 13 as the Aurora Borealis danced across the sky. The show was so prevalent that viewers didn't have to go far to view the lights.
Starting Oct. 12, those who viewed the Aurora, also had the chance to see Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS. The comet will be visible to the west immediately after sunset and it will be right on the Horizon. With each successive night it will be a little higher, set later and move towards the southwest.
