Glasgow City Council Approves Bid For Pool Bathhouse

During the regular council meeting on Oct. 7, the Glasgow City Council approved the final piece of the new swimming pool project in Glasgow by voting to accept the bid from Corland Construction to build a bathhouse at a cost of $954,080.

Corland Construction is currently constructing the swimming pool and now with them responsible for the pool bathhouse, both projects are expected to be completed by the end of May 2025.

When the pool bathhouse first went to bid, the bid came in at $1.7 million, which prompted the Pool Committee to pull the bid and revise the specifications. As a result, the bathhouse being constructed will include less amenities and be smaller than first proposed.
