Glasgow Stockyards Report

The market report for the Glasgow Stockyards on Oct. 10 show 339 cattle sold. Cows were steady while bulls were higher. Utility and commercial cows brought in $114 to $124; canner and cutter cows $90 to $114; and bulls $130 to $157.

As we head into the fall season here are a few reminders to help us keep things running smoothly:

Please call ahead to consign and to get on the list and have pens saved

Cattle Drop Off is Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you are outside of these hours, please call ahead.

Please fill out the shot history and sign natural affidavits

If you intended to defer your cattle, paperwork needs to be signed and handled ahead of sale check-in

Please call or notify if you want to pick up your check. Checks are mailed out Friday, at 1 p.m.
