Scottie XC Girls Win Home Invite

Boys Place Third

"We had a lot of great performances at our own Scottie Invitational at Kiwanis Park today! Our course is flat and very fast, and we expect personal records to be set if our athletes are healthy," Head Coach Tim Phillips said of his Scottie runners. "A few are still dealing with nagging injuries, but we still had nine personal bests and five season bests today, all that while battling winds at 30-42 mph."

The girls cross country team put up 38 points to win their home meet Oct. 5 at Kiwanis Park. Glasgow outpaced Poplar, 57; Harlem, 63; Brockton, 114; Richey-Lambert, 121, and Rocky Boy, 130 points.
