Thursday, Oct. 3, vs Harlem at Whitewater

The Mavericks took on the Wildcats in Whitewater. The Mavericks won the match in 4 sets. It was a good show of our attacking skills. We also focused on getting our serving percentage up as a team this week. Our goal was above 90 percent, and we did a great job all weekend long of reaching our goal and getting above it at 94 percent.

Friday, the Mavericks played a doubleheader with two conference matches in Hinsdale.

First up was Froid/Medicine Lake. The Mavericks had a slow start but picked up the pace to win the match in 4 sets.

Friday’s second match vs Brockton was also a conference match and senior night for our Hinsdale Seniors Berkley Hillman and Layna Jones. Both seniors have played since being freshmen in our program, and it was fun to celebrate them. The Mavericks came out swinging well from the service line and won the match in 3 sets.

Thursday, Oct. 10, Wolf Point will come to Hinsdale for a C and JV match and Saturday, Oct. 12, Mavericks will travel to Lustre for a varsity conference match.
