This traffic utility cabinet in front of Western Drug was one of three utility cabinets in Glasgow that have been beautified to showcase local photographers as well as provide directional wayfinding.
Glasgow Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID) recently completed a project to beautify our community while showcasing local photographers. Three traffic utility cabinets were wrapped with photos promoting our Big Sky country and each has a rainbow suggesting Glasgow is the pot of gold.
The cabinet in front of Western Drug features a Sean Heavey photo on three sides with directional wayfinding on the street side.
The cabinet in front of the Dairy Queen features a Carlos Valle photo on three sides and directional photo on the highway side. The third cabinet is between Mattfeldt Electric and Agland Co-op and is also from Valle Photography.
Clean Slate Group, out of Bozeman, Mont., has completed the project with funding provided by TBID and collected by hotels on rooms rented in Glasgow.
The material used is a conformable, graffiti-resistant vinyl and has been utilized by Clean Slate on hundreds of cabinets in over 30 different communities.
TBID is proud to beautify our community with this unique project.
