Valley County Council On Aging Bingo is played Tuesdays at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 7 p.m.

Through the winter, the Fort Peck Interpretive Center is open by appointment only to see the Center or for a Powerhouse Tour, 406-526-3493.

Wednesday, Oct. 9

5:30 p.m. – Valley County Commissioners will be at the Nashua School Library to discuss Valley County concerns.

Thursday, Oct. 10

4 – 5:30 p.m. - Valley County Public Health Flu Vaccine Clinic at the Valley County Health Department, 500 4th Ave. S. No appointment needed. Adults only, children will need an appointment at the Health Department.

6 p.m. - VFW and Auxiliary will meet at the VFW Post 3107. The Auxiliary will meet at 6 p.m., followed by the VFW at 7 p.m. On the agenda is poppy distribution and the Veterans Day program. All members are encouraged to attend and bring a potential member with them.

Friday, Oct. 11

2 p.m. - Nashua Senior Citizens Monthly Meeting.

5 p.m. - Benefit Dinner for Kari Murch at the Elks Lodge, Glasgow. Doors open at 5 p.m., auction will begin at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 12

9 a.m. - 3 p.m. - Annual Autumn Harvest Bazaar at the Valley Event Center. Everything from home-based businesses to hand-crafted items and more.

9:30 – 11:30 a.m. - Glasgow Learn To Skate Sign Up For November – December Season at the Valley Event Center. Contact Kimberley Girard by text at 406-263-2370 or by email at [email protected] with questions or to register.

Sunday, Oct. 13

1 p.m.- Game Day at Nashua Senior Citizens

Monday, Oct. 14

9:30 a.m. – All senior citizens are encouraged to come to the annual meeting at the Glasgow Senior Center. Plans of activities, thoughts and wishes for a fresh new year will be on the table. This is an important meeting so please plan to attend.

4:30 – 6:30 p.m. - Nashua Our Redeemer Lutheran Church Indian Taco Supper at the church. Free will donations will help defray church repair costs. All are welcome.

Tuesday, Oct. 15

Noon – 3 p.m. - Valley Community Food Bank, located at 1020 1st Ave. No., will be open. If this is your first time applying for assistance from the food bank, please bring photo identification and proof of your physical residence.

5 p.m. - Opheim Regular Scheduled School Board Meeting at the Opheim School.

Wednesday, Oct. 16

5 p.m. - Missouri / Milk River Chapter of Ducks Unlimited Annual Firearm Frenzy at the Glasgow Elks Lodge. Your ticket gives you a chance to win one of the 25 firearms in the Frenzy, a one-year membership to Ducks Unlimited and a buffet dinner.
