Glasgow's cross country hit two meets last week, staying close for the Frazer Invitational Sept. 26 then traveling across the state to Missoula for the Mountain West Classic in Missoula Sept. 28. Coach Tim Phillips held back several runners in Frazer but most of the team members hit the Missoula race to preview the State meet course.
Coach Phillips said, "We rested quite a few for various reasons today, but those that ran really competed through the Frazer hills and winds 20-30mph!"
The boys team placed third with 97 points, placing behind Harlem, 31 points and Scobey 86 points. Poplar finished fourth at 116 points while Dodson scored 128 points for fifth place.
The course in Frazer is less than the standard difference so Coach Phillips adjusted his runners' times using the Daniels Running Formula to get their 5K times, shown in parentheses.
