Valley County Council On Aging Bingo is played Tuesdays at 1 p.m. and Saturdays at 7 p.m.

Through the winter, the Fort Peck Interpretive Center is open by appointment only to see the Center or for a Powerhouse Tour, 406-526-3493.

Wednesday, Oct. 2

6 – 7 p.m. - International St. Mary and Milk Rivers Study Board Public Meeting at Tin Cup in Malta. Purpose of this meeting is to update the public on the study’s progress, work and timeline of studies into 2024.

Friday, Oct. 4

11 a.m. - First Annual Northeast Montana Harvest Festival at the Nashua School. The festival kickoff will be Oct. 4, with a Halloween Movie Marathon. $5 per person; with a max. of $20 per family. Concessions will be available for purchase.

4 – 7 p.m. - Glasgow Wrestling Club 2025 Early Sign Ups at the Busted Knuckle. Early bird registration and early gear orders will be available.

Saturday, Oct. 5

2024 Fall Schuetzen And Bench Match At The Valley County Rifle and Pistol Club Range, Glasgow.

8 a.m. - Registration

8:15 a.m. - 15-minute sight in period

8:30 a.m. - Post Targets For First Match Relay

9 a.m. - 50-shot offhand match

11:30 a.m. (or at the completion fo the offhand match) 30 shot bench match

1:30 p.m. - 50 shot .22LR rifle Bench Match

3 p.m. - 30 shot .22 LR rifle offhand match

Awards will follow the conclusion of the final match.

Saturday, Oct. 5

8 – 11:30 a.m. - The Fort Peck Senior Citizens will have a pancake breakfast during the Glasgow Invitational Cross Country Meet at the Downstream Campground. It will be in Shelter #4.

9 a.m. - 4 p.m. - FMDH Prenatal Class. Call Labor and Delivery, 406-228-3522 to register.

1 p.m. - Northeast Montana Veterans Memorial will meet at the VFW in Glasgow. Following the meeting we will go out to the memorial and swap out the summer flags for the winter ones.

1 p.m. - Missoula Children’s Theatre’s production of The Pied Piper at the Glasgow High School Auditorium. Admission tickets are $5.

5 p.m. - 19th Annual Nashua Firemen’s Association Dinner & Auction at the Nashua Civic Center. Dinner, catered by Doris Ozark, starts at 5 p.m., with events going until 9 p.m.

6 p.m. - Missoula Children’s Theatre’s production of The Pied Piper at the Glasgow High School Auditorium. Admission tickets are $5.

Monday, Oct. 7

5 p.m. – Valley County Commissioners will be at the Opheim Town Hall to discuss Valley County concerns.

Tuesday, Oct. 8

1-4 p.m. - Veteran Service Officers will be at the Glasgow VA Clinic. Please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214).

5:30 p.m. – Valley County Commissioners will be at the St. Marie Town Hall to discuss Valley County concerns.

Wednesday, Oct. 9

10 – 11 a.m. - Registration for SAIL (Stay Active & Independent for Life) Fitness Class at the Glasgow Senior Citizen Center. This 12-week falls prevention fitness program is free to all older adults, anyone who has fallen in the past year and/or is fearful of falling and anyone looking to add exercise to their routine

5:30 p.m. – Valley County Commissioners will be at the Nashua School Library to discuss Valley County concerns.

Thursday, Oct. 10

4 – 5:30 p.m. - Valley County Public Health Flu Vaccine Clinic at the Valley County Health Department, 500 4th Ave. S. No appointment needed. Adults only, children will need an appointment at the Health Department.
