New Billboard Advocating For Healthcare Gets Installed On Hwy 2

A new billboard advocating for the protection of healthcare access and reproductive rights, including abortion and gender affirming care, has been placed in Glasgow as part of Montanans for Choice’s statewide Reproductive Freedom campaign. The billboard is set to remain in place through Oct. 13 on Highway 2 (Mile Post 543.3) so it’s visible to both locals and out-of-state travelers.

This billboard is part of Montanans for Choice’s larger public awareness initiative which began in June with billboards in Billings, Helena, Great Falls, Missoula, Livingston, Stevensville, and Clinton. Phase two expands the campaign to more rural areas, including Glasgow, Eureka, and Libby, with the goal of amplifying the message that abortion, contraception, and gender affirming care remain legal and available in Montana despite ongoing attempts from policymakers to restrict access. Montanans overwhelmingly support access to healthcare including abortion and it’s important to include more areas across the state with these messages.

Montanans for Choice is a Montana-based non-profit organization working to advance gender equity, sexual health, and reproductive freedom through public education, communications, policy advocacy, and movement-building.

“We are thrilled to partner with local advocates in Glasgow to bring a Reproductive Freedom billboard to their community. It is critical that we reach Montanans across the state to correct the widespread misinformation and confusion that we know exists about their right to access healthcare,” said Executive Director of Montanans for Choice Nicole Smith. “This campaign is focused on reaching people across communities in Montana to remind them that our freedoms, including our ability to access to reproductive healthcare, must not be taken for granted. There is still more work to do to ensure that every Montanan can access the care they need close to home, and with love and support.”
