Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913
The Glasgow Invitational Cross Country Meet will be held in Fort Peck at the Downstream Campground on Saturday, Oct. 5, beginning at 9 a.m., when kids walk/jog the course; first race starts at 10 a.m.
The Fort Peck Senior Citizens will be having a pancake breakfast that morning at Shelter #4 in Kiwanis Park from 8 to 11:30 a.m.
Be sure to stop and see us first before watching the races. That tantalizing smell will draw you over to Shelter #4 in the park.
Come early and chow down! Breakfast starts at 8 a.m.—we’ll be ready for you.
Cost of the meal is $5 for two pancakes, three sausages, coffee, cocoa, or water. This would be a great way to fill your stomach and support the local Sr. Citizens at the same time.
Money raised is used to support various groups within Valley County. This past year, a major donation was made to the Fort Peck Theater HVAC project, as well as to the Fort Peck Theater Camp.
Supplemental funding will be provided by Thrivent Financial.
