The Lustre Christian Lions volleyball team hosted MonDak Sept. 10 and attended the Scobey Invite Sept. 14..
Lustre lost in five to MonDak 25-22, 24-26, 25-21, 17-25, 6-15. The Lustre junior high team won 22-25, 25-12, 15-6 while the grade school lost 9-15, 7-15, 3-15.
The junior high and grade school teams hosted North Country Sept. 13. The JH Lions won 25-9, 25-17, 25-17 while the grade school lost 13-15, 13-15.
In Scobey, Lustre had four pool play matches. They lost to Scobey 10-25, 9-25 before falling to Culberston 11-25, 21-25. The Lions lost 10-25, 16-25 to Froid/Lake and 14-25, 15-25 to Carter County.
The Lions grade school, junior high and varsity teams were in Culbertson Sept. 17 but scores were unavailable at press time.
Lustre hosts Frazer Thursday, Sept. 19, with the varsity match against the Bearcubs beginning st 5:30 p.m. The Lions welcome Frontier Saturday, Sept. 21, for grade school, junior high and varsity matches beginning at 2 p.m.
