The LCHS held a Rest and Relaxation Day at the Fort Peck pavilion on Aug. 28. The speaker was Mr. Nathan Lu who spoke on "What's Your Spiritual Health Like?" He asked the students to draw a tree picturing how they evaluated themselves. That was among the various activities that "drew students together into a unity as a student body," Mr. Burkhard declared. "It was a very good day," and he was pleased with their deportment and how they cleaned and worked together.

On the first day of school the teachers posed for pictures. The Kindergarten, first and second grade is taught by Mrs. Maryke Nell, with Mrs. Kimberly Klatt. Their students are Mark Traeholt, Eston Forest, Jace Garner, Kip Lacock, Hayes Traeholt, Marcus Nell, Holt Nichols, Lake Neufeld, Abe Unrau and Kash Pancratz.

"Mr. Prince" Agbisit's students in third and fourth grades are Christian Nell, Josh Matthyser, Micah Zerbe, Ian Unrau, Kade Livermore, Gavin Pancratz, Audrey Zerbe, Marlee Reddig, McKenna Bell, Piper Neufeld, Evie Olfert and Millie Olfert.

The fifth and sixth graders graders with their teacher, Ms Ligia Early, are Sam Byers, Jake Neufeld, Eli Lacock, Harmonee Uchtmann, Brielle Keller, Hannah Pancratz, Aubrey Klatt, Nancy Schiller, Drew Reddig and Bryanna Allen.

"Mr. Ed" Malihan and his seventh and eighth graders are Tessa Olfert, Samantha Neufeld, Ava Holzricher, Harlo Reddig, Grace Byers, Josef Olfert, Gunner Damboise, Justin Schiller, Coleman Hilkemann and Liam Reyneke.

Both schools have a policy whereby students turn in their cell phones before class. It does make for better concentration.

The bus drivers this year are Ashleigh Byers, Donald Traeholt and Mallory Watts. Tori Bell is cook, Shelly Keller is clerk, llayground supervisor is Lavonne Toews and paras are Linette Uchtman, Debbie Lenihan and Kimberly Klatt.

Thank you to each one.
