Buttrey Grocery Stores

Do you remember some of the Buttrey Grocery stores of the past? What a comparison to the one we have now.

Oops, that should be what a comparison to the Albertsons store that we now have. I am remembering the store that was located on the corner of 3rd Ave So. and 5th Street. That would be back in the Air Base days and offered employment for some of our high school students.

I am not sure when Buttrey’s became Albertsons, but I do remember that they were located in several locations before our BRAND NEW ALBERTSONS came about.

What an addition to our community.
