Local Artist McIntyre Will Show Off Exhibits
Cathryn McIntyre's ceramic mug with quote from Thich Nhat Hanh "To be beautiful means to be yourself. You don't need to be accepted by others. You need to accept yourself." McIntyre will have her ceramic pieces displayed at the Kirks' Ceramics 2024 in Billings, Aug. 2 through Sept. 21.
Kirks' Grocery proudly presents Kirks' Ceramics 2024, a group exhibition showcasing the breadth of contemporary ceramics by artists from across the state. This is your chance to encounter the tangible evidence of each piece's journey from the artist's first moment with the clay to the fired and finished.
Glasgow artist Cathryn McIntyre is one of 14 artists participating in this exhibition.
The opening reception will take place Friday, Aug. 2, 5 to 9 p.m., during ArtWalk, with delicious bites by Chef Ashley Woodward. The exhibition will be on display through Saturday, Sept. 21.
