Glasgow 10U and 12U Softball Team Bring Home Title Trophies from Murray Selk Tournament

The Glasgow girls 10U and 12U softball travel tams took top honors at the Miles City Murray Selk Tournament June 23. The 10U team beat the Miles City Blue 10-3, Sidney 6-0 and Miles City Gray 8-2 in pool play. They earned the number one seed in bracket play where they beat Miles City Blue. They defeated Sidney 4-2 in the championship game for the title. Glasgow's 12U team downed the Miles City Bananas 10-4, Baker 8-3 and Miles City Bombers 9-5 in pool play. The wins earned them the number one seed in the Gold Bracket. Glasgow defeated Sidney 16-10 to claim the championship.

In other softball news, Brynn Donaldson had an immaculate inning playing travel softball with the Skyriders at the G-Funk Throwdown in Great Falls. She threw nine pitches in the second inning, striking out three batters against the Bitterroot Sparks June 16.
