Nemont Manor Foundation Presents Grants To Local Organizations

The Nemont Manor Foundation presented $50,000 in grants on June 11 to 10 organizations that benefit the Valley County community. The grants were awarded from the Valley County Masonic Endowment Fund, which was established at the Montana Community Foundation in 2022.

Grant requests were reviewed by the Valley County Masonic Endowment Committee. Awardees include:

Shriners Hospitals for Children - $22,000 for the Shriners Children’s Hospital in Spokane.

Fort Peck Fine Arts Council - $1,500 to bring the Theatre for Young Audience to Fort Peck Theatre.

Fort Peck Fine Arts Council - $3,000 to install accessible seating in the Fort Peck Theater.

Two Rivers Growth, Inc. - $1,000 for the summer reading program at the Glasgow City-County Library.

Glasgow Rodeo Committee - $5,000 for the Northeast Montana PRCA Rodeo Scoreboard.

Glasgow School District - $3,000 for the snack pack program provided by the Glasgow High School Key Club.

Nashua Senior Citizens – $4,500 for critical improvements to the Nashua Senior Citizens building.

Northeast Montana Stat Air Ambulance Cooperative - $5,000 to purchase three new cardiac monitors for emergency flights in their rural service area

Siding 45 - $2,500 to build a 5,500 square foot skatepark in Glasgow.

Two Rivers Economic Growth, Inc. - $2,500 to conduct a county-wide workforce needs survey to address the lack of skilled and available workers.

Eligible projects must be within the following areas of interest: arts and culture, basic human needs, economic development, education, and natural resources and conservation. Ineligible projects include annual or capital campaigns, endowments, debt retirements, and religious, partisan, or sectarian activities. Grant requests are reviewed by the Nemont Manor Foundation. Next year, grant applications will be accepted from March 1-31, 2025.
