For the week of June 3 through 8, there were seven reports of loose livestock, three reports for VIN inspections, 13 reports of motor vehicle stops and two reports of loose dogs.
Wednesday, May 29
1807 – BNSF operations called stating a vehicle knocked the gate off at the Oswego RT 1 crossing. They have a tech en route. They didn’t get a vehicle description and don’t need assistance from law enforcement. Dispatch notified a deputy and Roosevelt 911.
2143 – Caller said her phone just told her she initiated an emergency 911 SOS. Everything is okay.
2216 – Reporting party called to report that he thinks a person is sleeping in the abandoned house across the street from him. An officer arrived on scene who advised the house is locked up pretty tight and there’s a big rock in front of the door. She doesn’t think anyone is inside without the owner’s permission and she is not going to force entry. Officer later spoke to the reporting party who stated there was somebody in the bushes around the house. Officer patrolled but was not able to locate anyone.
Thursday, May 30
0439 – Reporting party called and wants a female removed from her home. She says the subject is “full of drugs and acting crazy.” A deputy was notified who asked RCSO be contacted for a tribal officer. At 0506, dispatch advised they heard on the radio the female left before law enforcement arrived.
1105 – Reporting party called in stating that something odd happened this morning and he thought dispatch should know about it. He states that at about 0700 hours this morning, a guy pulling a flatbed trailer came out on the point and dropped the trailer, then left. The trailer has a bunch of stuff loaded on it. A plate number was provided as well as description of location.
1051 – PCSO dispatch called stating Saco FD called requesting assistance from Long Run Fire. They have 60-70 bales of hay on fire. LRFD Chief was contacted who stated they want Hinsdale FD there.
2000 – Officer advised there’s a semi moving company that’s moving a house. They’re not blocking the whole lane. The officer wanted dispatch to know in case someone calls about it.
Friday, May 31
0302 – Caller reported she came into work and the door glass is shattered. She doesn’t know if someone is inside. About 10 minutes later, officer cleared the building but set the alarm off. Dispatch contacted the alarm company to get a hold of the authorized key holder.
1654 – Northwestern Energy said they received a report from an individual that there’s a line hanging low in her backyard. She has a tech en route but is requesting an officer to respond to the scene to make sure the person stays away from the line.
1702 – A deputy is out with a road hazard. A guy dropped a bucket with a bunch of nails in it.
2043 – Caller requested that an officer stop by and pick up a wild bird that her daughter brought home. She said the small bird was attacked by a cat so her daughter brought it home.
2113 – Caller reported seeing at least one transient around the area, while others are stating it was two. One came in and walked out with a soda without paying, but the caller didn’t want to report him for a $3 soda. He just wants to let dispatch know there are a couple of transients in the area.
Monday, June 3
1456 – Reporting party had called and stated there was a two car accident. It was unclear at the time of reporting who was the cause of the accident. Ambulance was paged and officer was notified of the accident. The reporting party stated he didn’t think there were any injuries and everyone is out of their vehicles.
