Lillian Marie Uphaus

Lillian Marie (Jenson) Uphaus passed away peacefully at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at the age of 82.

A graveside service will be held at Highland Cemetery, Glasgow, Mont., at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7.

Lillian was born to Roy Merle Jenson and Francis "Lucille" Steinmetzer Jenson on March 16, 1942, in Glasgow. She married Gerald Lee Uphaus and had four children, Jacque Uphaus, Marsha (Clay) Warden, Pam Law and Jim (Stacy) Uphaus. The couple later divorced.

Lillian enjoyed crocheting afghans, making wedding cakes, playing scrabble and other games with friends, cooking and baking with her best friend, Colleen Konopaski.

She had a huge heart and loved to visit with everyone. She opened her house to everyone, there was always food to eat and coffee to drink. Lillian loved to spend time with family especially her grandchildren. She loved to go for walks and push them in the stroller.

Preceding her in death are her parents; brother Michael Jenson; and sisters Darlene Prokop, Carol Scott, Janet Fischer and Lois Plenger.

Lillian is survived by her children; grandchildren Ashely (Jeron) Scott, Alicia (Chris) Rairden, Stuart Law, Sarah (Clint Kipf) Law, Kenny Mogan, Sammy King, Josey Uphaus and Maddy Uphaus; great-grandchildren Michael and Tyler King and Seeley Kipf; and brother Merle (Marilyn) Jenson.
