State American Legion Convention In Glasgow

There will be a State American Legion Convention in Glasgow, Thursday, June 27, through Sunday, June 30. All American Legion, Sons of American Legion and Auxiliary are invited to attend. Registration is encouraged before hand as it will be $5 or more at the door.

The Convention consists of meetings and meals. The meals will be in Glasgow and a barbecue in Kiwanis Park in Fort Peck. It will also include tours at the Veterans Memorial, the Interpretive Center, the Power Houses and the lake area. There will be horseshoes at the barbecue.

The Auxiliary meets at the Cottonwood, while the American Legion and the Sons of American Legion will be at the Valley Event Center.

There will be a VA stand down Wednesday, June 26, at the VA Clinic and Thursday, June 27, at the Cottonwood. The National American Legion Commander will be at these events. Bring your thoughts and questions.

Please come as this is as close to northeast Montana as this State Convention might get.
