Flaten To Become Next Superintendent For Glasgow Schools

During a special board meeting on May 13, the Glasgow School Board reached a two-year contract with Brenner Flaten to become the next superintendent of Glasgow Schools. Flaten will replace Wade Sundby as the superintendent in July as Sunby has accepted a position at Cut Bank after serving Glasgow Schools for four years.

During the May 13 meeting, the school and Flaten agreed on a two-year contract that will pay him a base salary of $120,000 per year and a $15,000 yearly stipend to be the special education coordinator for the district. The contract also includes working 240 days.

The special meeting also saw the School Board approve the hire of Sierra Legare as speech language pathologist/special language teacher and discussed the search to fill the open position of principal at Irle School. The closing date for the position is May 27 and the school board will review applications on May 28.
