Calendar Of Upcoming Events In The Area

Visitors to the Fort Peck Interpretive Center can call for an appointment weekdays, dependent upon staff availability, 406-526-3411 ext 3755. Starting Friday, May 24 through Monday, Sept. 2, the Interpretive Center will be open Thursday through Monday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

St. Raphael’s Rummage Sale is scheduled for June 20 through 22. They are now accepting donations for the sale. Donations can be dropped off at the Parish Center from Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. through 4 p.m. and place them on the stage. The last day of drop offs will be Monday, June 3.

Wednesday, May 22

4:30 p.m. – Glasgow School District End Of The Year Social at Sunnyside Golf Course. Please join us as we honor our district retirees. There will be pulled pork sandwiches and dessert provided. Drinks will also be available for purchase.

Friday, May 24

5 – 7 p.m. – VFW Post 3017 final steak fry of the season. 4-H kids, who are raising money to go to Washington, D.C., will be hosts. Come out and support these kids and enjoy a great steak too. The public is welcome.

Saturday, May 25

9 a.m. – All are welcome to meet at Highland Cemetery to place flags on all veterans’ grave sites.

Sunday, May 26

3 p.m. – Glasgow High School Graduation Ceremony.

Monday, May 27

Memorial Day

10:30 a.m. – Memorial Day Program at the VFW, 54087 Highway 2, Glasgow. Weather permitting, it will be held outside in the parking lot next to the flag memorial. Everyone is invited to stay for a potluck dinner immediately following the program.

11 a.m.- Opheim American Legion Memorial Day Program held at the Opheim Community Church.

Wednesday, May 29

12:30 – 2 p.m. – Celebrate National Hamburger Month at Nemont Manor at their Open House. Join them for burgers and stay for an afternoon game event.

7 p.m. – Glasgow Swing Choir Spring Show and Fundraiser at the Glasgow High School Auditorium. Admission is $3.
