Calendar Of Upcoming Events In The Area

The Valley County Pioneer Museum is open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Nemont Manor has activities scheduled throughout the month for the entire community as well as the residents of Nemont Manor. If you would like a calendar, please contact 406-228-4306 or e-mail [email protected] and they will mail one to you.

Visitors to the Fort Peck Interpretive Center can call for an appointment weekdays, dependent upon staff availability, 406-526-3411 ext 3755.

Thursday, May 9

6 p.m. & 7 p.m. - The VFW and Auxiliary will meet with the Auxiliary at 6 p.m. and the VFW at 7 p.m. On the agenda is recognizing our EMTs of the Year before the meeting starts. Plans for Memorial Day Program and placing flats on the veterans graves at the Highland Cemetery.

Friday, May 10

7:30 a.m. – Valley County Free Tree Day 2024 on the east lawn of the Valley County Courthouse.

11:30 a.m. -1 p.m. – Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center invites the community to celebrate Mental Health Day. Hot dogs will be served at their new location, 130 3rd St. S., Glasgow.

1 p.m. - The Lustre Grade School is presenting their Spring program in their gymnasium under the direction of Prince Agbisit.

2 p.m. – Nashua Senior Citizens monthly meeting.

Saturday, May 11

9 a.m. – Noon – Glasgow Senior Citizen Center Flea Market.

Sunday, May 12

Mother’s Day

10 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Markle’s Warehouse Annual Mother’s Day Open House. Take advantage of specials and register for door prizes. The first 100 mothers will receive a free trailing petunia.

1 p.m. – Nashua Senior Citizens will have Game Day. Festivities include Pinochle, Dominos, and any game that people want to play. Come have fun with fun people!

2 p.m. – Colleen Thompson and her vocal students invite you to join them for their annual Mother’s day Recital at the Methodist Church.

Tuesday, May 14

5 p.m. – Milk River, Inc. Fundraiser Drive-Thru Indian Tacos, 219 2nd Ave. S., Glasgow. Only serving 300. All proceeds will go towards remodeling Warren Group Home.

7 p.m. - The Northeast Montana Land and Mineral Owners Association will hold a meeting in Bainville, Mont., at the Bainville Fire Hall. Anyone with oil and gas related questions or concerns are welcome to attend.

Thursday, May 16

9:30 a.m. – Nashua Senior Citizens Coffee Social.
