Glasgow Stockyards Report

The market report for the Glasgow Stockyards on April 18 show 819 cattle sold. Utility and commercial cows brought in $115 to $137.50. Canner and cutter cows brought in $85 to $110; young feeding/turnout cows $130 to $214; and bulls $130 to $161.

The market report on April 25 show 338 cattle sold. Utility and commercial cows brought in $115 to $134; canner and cutter cows $85 to $110 and bulls $130 to $150.

The North Country Performance To Profit Bull Auction, hosted by Jody and Doug Mason Family, of Richland, and Merle and Devyn Young Family, of Chinook. A total of 47 angus bulls were sold for an average of $5,867. The top sold for $9,000 and the top 10 average was $7,900.

The volume buyer was Tyrel Raty, of Chinook, with four bulls.

For the Masons, they sold 29 bulls with an average of $5,371. The top sold for $9,000 and the top five averaged $7,690.

Lot 3049, NBL Raptor sired by Top Raptor and out of a Mill Bar Hickock Dam, sold to TJF Ranch, of Richland, for $9,000.

Lot 3018, North Bench Payweight sired by Basin Payweight and out of an S Chisum Dam, sold to Gaustad Ranch, of Scobey, for $8,500.

Lot 3044, NBL Artillery sired by Clear Creek Artillery, so to Thieven Ranch, of Richland, for $7,000.

Lot 3088, NBL Viking sired by Topp NoDak and out of a Basin Payweight Dam, sold to Scott Halverson, of Scobey, for $7,000.

For the Youngs, they sold 18 bulls for an average of $6,667. The top sold for $8,500 and the top five averaged $8,150.

Lot 32, My Bankroll sired by Barstow Bankroll and out of a Shipwheel Vance Dam, sold to Mardy Cox, of Chinook, for $8,500.

Lot 39, My Courage sired by Connealy Courage and out of a Connealy Countdown Dam, sold to Megan and Dylan Walsh, of Turner, for $8,500.

Lot 312, My Courage sired by Connealy Courage and out of a Connealy Countdown Dam sold to Daryl Waarvik, of Glasgow, for $8,250.

Lot 35, My Consensus sired by Donnealy Consensus and out of a Connealy Countdown Dam sold to Clear Creek Angus, of Chinook for $8,000.
