Scottie Softball Falls in Havre

The Scottie softball team fell 10-0 in six innings April 16 on the road against the Havre Blue Ponies. The host team put up two runs in the first, one in the third, scored three times in the fourth and fifth innings, and closed the game early with one run in the sixth.

Glasgow was outhit 13-5 in the tilt with both teams committing two errors.

Hayden Green had two hits for Glasgow while Macy Martin, CharLee McColly and Kelbi Wersal added one each.

Brynlie Boreson took the loss in the pitcher’s circle, going four-and-one-third innings with six errors and one strikeout. Brynn Donaldson closed out the game with one error and two strikeouts.

The Scotties were set to host their home opener April 22 against Glendive, but scores and stats were unavailable at press time.

Glasgow will attend the Huntley Project/Shepherd Invitational Friday and Saturday, April 26-27.
