Glasgow Stockyards Report

The market report for the Glasgow Stockyards on March 28 show 280 cattle sold.

Utility and commercial cows brought in $115 to $132.50; canner and cutter cows $85 to $110; young feeding/turnout cows $150 to $240; and bulls $130 to $157.

Gibbs Red Angus Production Auction, hosted by the Pat Gibbs family of Jordan, was held. A total of 29 Red Angus bulls sold with an average of $4,359. The top bull sold for 46,750 and the top 10 average was $5,875.

Lot 9 GIB 3047 Hedge Fund sold to Larry Stensland, of Wolf Point, for $6,750.

Lot 24 GIB 3401 Legend sold to Phillips Gibbs, of Jordan, for $6,750.

Lot 39 GIB 3166 Energize sold to Charlie Ahlgren, of Winnett, for $6,250.

Lot 8 GIB 3041 Redemption sold to Engstrom Ranch, of Glasgow, for $6,250.

The volume buyers were Lee Gibbs, of Circle, with five bulls and Dustin Pankratz, of Malta, with four bulls.

Northern Lites Red Angus, hosted by the Bryce Risa Family, of Opheim, also had a sale. A total of 32 Red Angus Bulls sold with an average of $4,555. The top bull sold for $11,000 and the top 10 average was $6,325.
