Glasgow Stockyards Market Report

The market report for the Glasgow Stockyards on March 21 show 460 cattle sold.

Cows and bulls were very light test, however very strong market on all classes.

Utility and commercial cows brought in $115 to $133.50; canner and cutter cows $85 to 4110; young feeding/turnout cows $150 to $205; and bulls $125 to $145.50.

Bangs vaccinated replacement heifers brought in $1,675 to $1,875 per head. Three-to-six-year old bred cows brought in $2,900 to $3,200; seven to solid mouth bred cows $2,550 to $2,850; and short-term broken mouth cows $2,050 to $2,150.
