Lustre Boys Beat North Country, Nashua

The Lustre boys basketball team posted two more conference wins this past week, beating North Country 56-28 Jan. 16 and defeating Nashua 70-32 Jan. 19.

Lustre shot 41 percent from the field and 44 percent from the line in their win. The Lions outrebounded North Country 34-27 while putting up 19 assists, 16 steals and four blocks.

Lustre shot 50 percent from the field and 47 percent from the line. The Lions grabbed 27 rebounds to Nashua’s 20. Lustre had 15 assists, 11 steals and two blocks.

Lustre will be in Frazer Friday, Jan. 26, for a girls varsity game at 5:30 p.m. followed by boys varsity at 7 p.m. The Lions host the Bainville Bulldogs Saturday, Jan. 27 with JV games at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. followed by varsity action at 4 and 5:30 p.m.
