Nashua Boys Lose To Circle and Harlem

The Nashua boys basketball team lost 51-29 to the Circle Wildcats Jan. 5 and fell 74-54 to the Harlem Wildcats Jan. 6.

Grady Nielsen led the team against Circle with 14 points. Jackson Abern scored 12, Caden Laumeyer 11, and Damon Adkins 2 points. Adkins and Abern led in assists with three each. Noah Leckie had two helpers, while Bubba Pugh, Nielsen and Laumeyer had one each. Nielsen grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Nashua. Laumeyer grabbed five boards, Leckie and Abern three, and Adkins and Pugh two each. Nielsen had two steals for the Porcupines while Leckie led in blocks with three. Nielsen, Laumeyer and Pugh had one block each.

Nashua hosts the Frazer Bearcubs Thursday, Jan. 18, for a varsity girls game at 6 and varsity boys at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19, the Porcupines travel to Lustre to take on the Lions with JV boys playing at 4:30 p.m., girls varsity at 6 p.m., and boys varsity at 7:30 p.m.
