William 'Willie' Copple

William "Willie" Francis Copple passed into the arms of the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024, in Glasgow, Mont.

Family will receive friends 6 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 19, at the Saco Lutheran Church, Saco, Mont.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Saco Lutheran Church with Pastor Doris Tollefson officiating. Burial will follow in the Grandview Cemetery.

Willie was born to Charles Dewey and Mary (Simpson) Copple on Sept. 25, 1935, in Malta, Mont. Willie spent his younger years growing up in the Saco community working as a farm/ranch laborer. In 1970, he purchased his own ranch where he and his family worked together to enjoy rural life. He had a passion for all animals and they for him.

Wheel and Deal, he liked to buy and sell which he did as long as he was able.

Willie felt his greatest accomplishment in life was his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters Ileen (Ed) Pekovitch and Margaret Copple Anderson; and brothers Charles Eugene (Vivian) and David Copple.

Willie is survived by his loving wife, Betty, of 50 years; step-daughters Jacqueline (Bill) Bryson, Wendeline (Tom) Bedwell, Daphne (Mike) Faler, and Stephne (Darrin) Erickson; 14 grandchildren, Jamison Schaaf, Flint (Amelia) Schaaf, Jesse Faler, Madison Faler, Jodell Bryson, Kirsten Bryson, Scott Bryson, Nathan (Jaci) Robinson, Kaden (Danielle) Bedwell, Thad Bedwell and Thane Bedwell; four great-grandchildren, Kailyn Robinson, Trayton Robinson, Lettie Schaaf, and Kyler Bedwell; sister-in-law Lola Copple; and several nieces and nephews.
