Serving Proudly As The Voice Of Valley County Since 1913

Leo Pattison

Leo Murdock Pattison passed away due to natural causes in Havre, Mont., on Saturday, Dec 30, 2023, at the age of 100 just 13 days shy of his 101st birthday, on Jan. 12.

At Leo's request no services will be held.

Leo, a WWII veteran, former Griz football player, farmer, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and Christian were some of the hats he wore.

He was easily recognized around town by his trademark tan shirt and trousers and enjoyed making the morning coffee rounds with his fellow farmers. He could always be counted on having chocolate hidden in his vehicle, a can of wheat and Bible in his front seat, and rocks he picked from a field on his floorboards.

He was a man of Faith and loved to talk about the Lord. He was an example to everyone he met about how to serve Jesus!

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and a good story telling session always made his day.

Leo is survived by his wife, Verna; sons, Jeff (Dawn), Steve (Vonnie), Kyle and Scott (Jennifer) Pattison; 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; sisters Dora Radakovich and Patsy Shepard; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

If inclined to give in in memoriam please donate to Jews for Jesus as Leo was dedicated to helping God's chosen people.
