Pliley Promoted to Sales Center Manager At Blue Rock Distributing Company

On Jan. 1, 2024, Blue Rock Distributing Company announced the promotion of Jack Pliley to the Sales Center Manager position in the Glasgow office. The position was previously held by Paul Olszewski.

After 42 years Olszewski retired from Blue Rock as the sales center manager. He worked for the company in various capacities as well as their sales operation in Sidney, Mont. He was named Sales Center Manager in 2003. He was a strong community supporter and an avid sports fan. He particularly

enjoyed supporting Glasgow Scotties Basketball. He was also an active support member of the Fort Peck Community Theater. When asked what Paul will do in retirement, he responded, "I'll be traveling quite a bit, seeing family and continuing to enjoy the outdoors through camping."

As Jack Pliley stepped into the Sales Center Manager position, he made plans to update the office and warehouse space, in addition to setting goals for the marketplace. He looks forward to continuing to serve customers and be an active member of the community. Mr. Pliley served as a route salesperson beginning in 2005. In 2014 he was promoted to Market Development Manager.
