Glasgow's girls basketball team struggled to find their offense against the Class A Sidney Eagles at home Dec. 15. The Scotties managed one bucket in the first quarter while the visitors poured in 16 points. Glasgow outscored Sidney 11-8 in the second to trail 24-13 at the half. The Scotties put up another 11 in the third but trailed 43-24 heading into the final quarter where Sidney put up one more point – 14-13 – to seal the Eagles' 57-37 win.
Mayzie Yoakam led all scorers with 22 points. Hayden Green added 8 for Glasgow followed by Paityn Britzman with 5 and Riley Evenson-Glasoe with 2 points.
Glasgow hosts the Wolf Point Wolves Thursday, Dec. 21, for C, JV and Varsity girls and boys games. Games will be at 3:30, 5, 6:30 and 8 p.m. in Scottie Gymnasium. The Scotties will be in Rocky Boys Friday, Dec. 22.
